DCL performed a comprehensive Y2K assessment program 1n 1999.

Y2K remediation efforts were completed in the fall of 1999, information and communication systems were shutdown on December 30, 1999, and were restarted successfully on January 1, 2000.

DCL has used this effort to identify potential problems in all hardware, software, network and communications equipment in the foreseeable future and will be scheduling improvements that will insure reliable operations throughout the coming year.
